Y7 Academic Trip

Cubahiro International School - Burundi, in collaboration with O.T.B. (Office du Thé du Burundi), organized a field visit to OTB Teza in Muramvya on 27 February 2024 for Year 7 / MYP1 students.

The visit gave students practical exposure to the manufacturing process of tea. OTB experts guided the group through tea culture, history, harvesting techniques, and the quality controls used at each stage of production.

After the academic portion of the visit, students continued to Green Park Bugarama for refreshment. The experience was educational, memorable, and closely aligned with CIS’s commitment to learning beyond the classroom.
